The nationally-recognized Lindenwood University dancers will offer a potpourri of styles Nov. 22-23 during a concert of premieres at the West County Family YMCA in Chesterfield.

The Lindenwood University Jazz Band, under the director of Professor Robert M. Carter, will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 in the Lindenwood University Cultural Center, 400 North Kingshighway.

Lindenwood University is offering three courses to help prospective students get a head start on the spring semester.

On Saturday, Oct. 26, the Historic Daniel Boone Home will host a “birthday party” to celebrate the 268th anniversary of America’s first and most revered pioneer. The activities will include pioneer games, sing-alongs, craft projects, party favors and a special birthday cake. The party will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Lindenwood University formally dedicated the Spellmann Campus Center in a brief ceremony just prior to the Lions' 1:45 p.m. Homecoming football contest Saturday against Graceland University.

Dr. Murray Weidenbaum, President Reagan’s first chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, will present a talk entitled “Meeting the Global Energy Challenge” at Lindenwood University, Friday, Oct. 4 at 3 p.m. at the Lindenwood University Cultural Center, 400 S. Kingshighway in St. Charles, Mo.
