The Lindenwood University Campus YMCA will host a Safe Trick-or-Treat for kids in the Lindenwood community and the St. Charles area from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, at the facility, which is located at 1116 First Capitol Drive in St. Charles.
Activities will include a Spook-Fest haunted house for kids, fall arts and crafts and an outdoor Fall Explorer Area, which will include face painting, photos, costume contests, bobbing for apples and healthy snacks. This is the first year for the event.
“The Campus Y wanted to plan an event that was fun, yet safe for families with children of all ages,” said Jessica Schroeder, program coordinator at the Lindenwood Campus YMCA. “Our student program leaders came up with the idea for the Safe Trick-or-Treat and have planned creepy and spooky activities for all of our participants to enjoy, the best part being that it’s so affordable.”
A $2 admission charge per child will be collected at the door. Parking will be available at Fred’s Muffler and Car Care and at Jane’s Yoga, which are located on either side of the Campus YMCA. For more information, call Schroeder at 636-949-4787
