The NCAA recently announced that Lindenwood men's golfer Greg MacAulay was a recipient of a NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.
The NCAA awards up to 174 postgraduate scholarships annually to 87 men and 87 women student-athletes. The scholarships are given to student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically, and are at least in their final year of intercollegiate athletics competition. The $7,500 one-time grants are awarded for fall sports, winter sports, and spring sports, with 58 scholarships available each season.
MacAulay was a two-time Capital One Academic All-American for Lindenwood and was the first Lion to earn the award multiple times. He was one of the top golfers on Lindenwood's 2013-14 squad which advanced to the NCAA Regional Championships in its first season of eligibility. MacAulay averaged 75.0 shots per round and won two tournaments throughout the year.
