Lindenwood University will host a hearing of the House Interim Committee on State Intelligence Analysis Oversight at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, in the Anheuser-Busch Leadership Room of the Spellmann Campus Center, located on the main campus in St. Charles.
The hearing is one of four held around the state regarding intelligence gathering and analysis by the Missouri Information Analysis Center. The purpose of the hearings is to examine the current system of intelligence analysis and determine if there is enough public accountability for the center. The committee, which consists of 16 members of the Missouri House of Representatives, will hear testimony from members of the public on the issue at hand.
The Lindenwood hearing will be the only one held in the St. Louis area; other hearings are scheduled in the Springfield and Kansas City areas, and a hearing has already been held in Jefferson City. The public are invited to attend.
The Spellmann Center is accessible from the entrance at Kingshighway and First Capitol Drive. It is located just past the Welcome Center and to the right.
