Lindenwood University has been identified as having one of the best-value bachelor’s degrees in parks, recreation, and leisure studies by College Values Online. The ranking considered tuition, financial aid, return on investment, and the number of minors, concentrations, or areas of emphases offered.
College Values Online ranked Lindenwood 17th among schools that offer degrees in parks, recreation, and leisure. Within its school of Sport, Recreation and Exercise Science, Lindenwood offers a bachelor’s degree in recreation administration. Students can choose among emphases in community recreation management, outdoor recreation, sport and fitness management, or general recreation.
The organization pulled its rankings from a pool of 150 colleges and universities and listed the top 30 on its website at http://www.collegevaluesonline.com/rankings/best-value-bachelor-degrees-in-parks-recreation-and-leisure/. Lindenwood is one of two schools in Missouri in that group.
