One of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies, Twelfth Night tells the story of the beautiful Viola who, upon becoming shipwrecked on the shores of Illyria, disguises herself as a man (“Cesario”) to protect her honor. In this guise, she becomes the page of the lovesick Count Orsino. As luck would have it, just as Viola is falling for Orsino, she is sent to woo the Countess Olivia on Orsino’s behalf, and Olivia finds herself captivated by the handsome young “Cesario.” The timeless play is a delightful look at the ridiculous things we do for love.
