The Advertising and Public Relations Program graduates highly skilled, professionally adaptable, and academically accomplished individuals who are ready to hit the ground running. Such graduates will be able to take advantage of a wide range of professional opportunities, including but not limited to: Account Services, Advertising, Account Strategist, Content Development, Content Management, Design and Production, Digital Media, Interactive Media, and Public Relations and Strategic Communications.

Realizing that aim requires of students the following learning outcomes in the program:

  1. Understand history, theory, terms, ethics, and roles and responsibilities in the industry.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency in writing, speaking, and being creative in a variety of media.
  3. Manage projects from concept to completion using the tools of the industry.
