The School of Humanities offers a large and diverse selection of minors.  These minors can be surprisingly valuable not only by increasing your knowledge and skill base, but also by giving you a distinctive professional profile that will make you stand out from the crowd when applying for jobs and advancing in your career.  For example, business students might do well to consider a minor where they can study the history of economic systems or the political structures outside of the United States.  Students who major in sciences, arts and communication, or health sciences might find the study of foreign languages or writing and professional communication useful.
