To join the Honors College, and to maintain one’s standing in it, the only requirement is a Lindenwood GPA of 3.3 or above. (A freshman must have a 29 or above on their ACTs).
To become an active member of the Honors College, the only requirement is to be currently in, or to have taken, at least one course for honors credit.
To graduate with University Honors, one must complete at least 8 courses for honors credit. This can be done in two ways:
To register for classes early, turn in your honors application by 1 month prior to the early registration date (which is one week before the date for seniors). If you are currently taking a course for honors, but it is by arrangement with the professor, make sure to include a copy of the contract, which can be found on the Honors College website. If you are already an active member of the Honors College who has turned in your form, then you’re all set for early registration and you don’t need to do anything.
To get credit for an arranged honors course, just request that your professor send your name and the course title and number to the Chair of the Honors College, Dr. Mike Whaley.
