In addition to study with the Honors College, the University provides many acknowledges of excellence. Several awards recognize outstanding academic performance based on grade-point. These are given to students in various categories, including class, service, major, and degree.
Class Honors
Alpha Lambda Delta - Freshman and Sophomores who achieve a GPA of 3.5
Alpha Chi - Juniors and Seniors who achieve standing in the upper 10 percent of their class
Alpha Sigma Tau - Seniors who achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.5
Alpha Sigma Lambda - Non-Traditional, Adult Students with 84 credit hours at LU and a 3.8 GPA

Service Honors
LindenScroll - Students maintaining a GPA of 3.5 are eligible for election into LindenScroll, which rewards the spirit of service and fellowship. Members officiate at graduation and campus convocations.
Major Honors
Individual disciplines recognize the high achievement of their majors with enrollment into special Honor Societies.
