Lindenwood University

Institutional Review Board (IRB)

All human subjects research conducted under the auspices of Lindenwood University, whether by faculty or students, must first be approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB).  For more information about if your research needs IRB approval, please view this presentation.

Starting October 1, 2012, all IRB protocols must be submitted using the online system IRB Net. All forms, requirements, and deadlines will remain the same; all documents will simply be uploaded rather than emailed. The new online system will allow PIs to better track the status of their submissions.  Go to http://www.irbnet.org and create a new account to get started. These basic instructions will help you upload a new IRB protocol.

All faculty/students submitting IRB applications must complete NIH Protecting Human Research Participants training and upload a copy of their certificate to IRBNet. Create a login and complete the free, self-paced, online modules at http://phrp.nihtraining.com/users/login.php.
