Degree Honors

At graduation, the faculty awards degree honors to students who have completed all degree requirements with academic distinction. To be eligible for degree honors, students must have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours in residence at Lindenwood University and must meet the grade point average requirements.

•The cum laude requires a GPA between 3.70 and 3.85.
•The magna cum laude requires a GPA between 3.86 and 3.93.
•The summa cum laude degree requires a GPA of 3.94 or above.

Non-traditional adult (Accelerated Degree Programs) students who have completed 84 credit hours at Lindenwood University and maintained a 3.8 GPA are admitted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda honor society.
