Do you know a Lindenwood alumnus who has done or is doing remarkable things?
Each year the Lindenwood University Alumni Association recognizes a member of the alumni community who has, through positive action, stood out among his or her peers personally, professionally, and in volunteerism.
An Alumni Merit Award winner must be a distinguished individual who attended Lindenwood for two or more years or completed a graduate degree and has established a reputable record of support for the university. A fellow alumnus and a co-nominator who is also an alumnus must detail the nominee’s qualifying accomplishments by completing the approved nomination form. The nominators are responsible for providing the candidate’s vitae along with their written support.
The Alumni Association Board’s Merit Award Committee vets the candidates, and the recipient is chosen at the group’s February meeting. To be eligible, the candidate must receive a majority of the votes and be willing to accept the award in person.
Forms are available on this page and by emailing the Alumni Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nominations are accepted at the Alumni Office until 5 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019.
