In 1827, Mary Easton Sibley began teaching young women in her St. Charles home with the goal of educating enlightened, useful citizens.  Today, Lindenwood remains committed to that student-oriented mission.  We are a dynamic community partner that draws faculty from around the nation and students from throughout the world, and we invite you to join us as we orchestrate education in a new key—one that meets the diverse needs of students in the 21^st century.
