Leslie Alnatt

Instructor - Voice, World Music, Music Fundamentals

"Leslie Allnatt, soprano, has performed chorally, operatically, and as a soloist in the United States, Austria, Poland, and Germany. She has performed such roles as Mrs. Gleaton in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah, Susannah and Barbarina in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, La Tragedia in Jacopo Peri’s Euridice, and Frasquita in Bizet’s Carmen. She has also presented the soprano solo roles in Saint-Saëns’ Christmas Oratorio, Fauré’s Requiem, and Handel’s Messiah.
Though Ms. Allnatt loves to perform, she is also a highly academic musician and has pursued academic opportunities as well as performing ones. Ms. Allnatt attended Morehead State University in Morehead, KY where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance. From there, she moved to Louisville, KY where she attended the University of Louisville and earned her Master’s in Music History and Literature. She is currently completing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Iowa in Voice Performance and Pedagogy."
