Cycling is one
of the newest
sport to the
Lindenwood
University
athletic
programs.
Started in 2006
as a club sport,
it was elevated
to a varsity
sport in 2007.
Lindenwood
cyclists will
compete with
other college
cyclists across
the Midwest in
the MWCCC
(Midwest
Collegiate
Cycling
Conference
sanctioned by
USA Cycling)
during their
season of
competition.
Coached by
Darren Marhanka,
a faculty member
and avid
cyclist,
Lindenwood has
high hopes for
producing
nationally
ranked cyclists
who are
interested in
earning a
high-quality
college degree
while competing
with their
peers.
