Head Coach: Patrick Ross
One of the youngest college head coaches in the nation at the age of 32, Ross was named the 2004 Schutte Sports NAIA National Coach of the Year. A native of Southern California, Ross was also named the 2004 HAAC Coach of the Year after the Lions went 11-1 in 2004, and the AFCA Division II Regional Coach of the Year. Prior to coming to Lindenwood, Ross and his staff led Ottawa (Kan.) University to a KCAC championship and a trip to the national playoffs in 2003. Coach Ross, who enters his sixth season as a head coach this fall, also has a background as a defensive coordinator, a role which he filled for four seasons at Kansas Wesleyan University before taking the reins at Ottawa in 2002. The proud parents of baby Shaelene (1), Ross and his wife, Stacey, are also raising youngsters Peyton (6) and Caden (4).

Shawn Nagel
Defensive Coordinator- LB
One of the bright young defensive minds in the coaching business, Nagel will be in his fourth season as Coach Ross's defensive coordinator this fall. The Lions finished sixth nationally in both scoring defense and total defense in 2004. Nagel has coached at Fort Hays State and Bemidji State, in addition to his stints with Ross at Ottawa (Kan.) and Kansas Wesleyan. He and his wife, Julie, have two young ones in the house - Chase (2), and baby Slade (six months). |

Shawn Jackson
Offensive Coordinator - QB
Jackson brings a fresh offensive perspective to the Lions this fall, after a stint last season as the football recruiting coordinator at the University of Missouri. A native of Hayti, Mo., and one of the top no-huddle, spread offense minds in the country, Jackson has also enjoyed success as a high school head coach in southeast Missouri and northeast Arkansas. Coach Jackson and his wife, Abbie, have two young sons - Cole (7) and Kellen (1). |

Craig Schuler
Assistant Head Coach - Receivers
A veteran of 16 seasons in the HAAC (11 years at Benedictine and two at Avila), Coach Schuler will again bring a wealth of experience to the Lion staff. With coordinator experience on both sides of the ball in the Heart, Schuler's knowledge will be valuable for the Lions on offense this season. Schuler will coach the wideouts in 2007, and serves as LU's recruiting coordinator. He and his wife, Alison, have two daughters - Nikki (12) and Katie (19).

Brian Frana
Offensive Line
Coaching the offensive line may be the most important job on a coaching staff, and Frana joins the Lions this season, in that critical role. Coach Frana spent the last two seasons as a grad assistant offensive line coach at NCAA Div. II St. Cloud (Minn.) State. Prior to that, Brian had been the offensive coordinator, offensive line coach and special teams coordinator at Waldorf (Ia.) College. Frana and his fiancee, Jen, will be married this February. |

Marcus Yokeley
Special Teams Coord. - Secondary
Yokeley begins his second season on Coach Ross's staff with a new full-time position, after spending the 2006 campaign as a graduate assistant on defense. Marcus will coach the Lion defensive backfield this fall, and will handle coordination of the LU special teams. Coach Yokeley is currently finishing his master's degree at LU, a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning. |
