Head Coach - Carl Hutter
Carl Hutter is
entering his
14th season in
2007 as
head coach of
the Lindenwood men's soccer
team.
Last season,
Hutter earned
his 200th win at
Lindenwood and
his 300th career
victory.
His 200th Lion
victory came in
a 1-0 shutout
over Milligan.
His 300th career
was also a
shutout in a 4-0
victory over
Avila.
Hutter has a
record of
208-71-15 (.733)
while at
Lindenwood, and
he has a career
mark of
303-153-43
(.650). The
Lions have had a
winning season
every year
under Hutter,
and have also
advanced to the
postseason
playoffs
each season.
Since 2000,
the Lions men's
soccer team has
advanced to the
NAIA National
Tournament five
times. In four
of those
appearances,
Lindenwood
advanced to at
least the NAIA
quarterfinals.
In 2004,
Hutter led
Lindenwood to
its first NAIA
National
Championship in
men's soccer.
The Lions
entered the
tournament as
the three-seed
and rode a
strong defense
to the crown.
Lindenwood
allowed just one
goal in four
games, and
captured the
title with a 1-0
victory over
Auburn
Montgomery.
Hutter was named
National Coach
of the Year
after that
season.
Hutter has
also led his
squads to five
conference
championships,
with one coming
in the American
Midwest
Conference and
the other four
in the very
competitive
Heart of
American
Athletic
Conference which
Lindenwood now
belongs to.
After a
successful
playing career, Hutter became an assistant coach at Harris-Stowe in 1982 and from 1983-87 he served as
its head coach. From 1988-1993,
he coached at Missouri Valley,
before ending up
at Lindenwood.

Nenad Curic Assistant Coach
Nenad Curic is a Native of Serbia, where he played for F.C. Partizan youth categories and senior amateur teams.
He completed both his undergraduate and graduate programs at Lindenwood. As a collegiate player, Nenad earned NAIA All-American honors.
Nenad is FIFA Coaching Certified and has successfully coached youth teams in Serbia and United States.

Juan Pablo Wunder Assistant Coach
Juan Pablo Wunder, from Santiago, Chile, is in his first year as a graduate assistant coach at Lindenwood.
He is a graduate of regional opponent Hannibal-LaGrange. While he attended school, he earned All-American honors, as well as being named MVP of the American Midwest Conference in 2006. Wunder helped Hannibal-LaGrange win their first conference championship in school history. He holds the current scoring record at the school, netting 50 goals in three seasons.
Wunder's knowledge of offense will make him an important asset to the Lion program. He is currently working on his MBA in Marketing.
Sagarath Folkes Assistant Coach
Sagarath Folkes is a native of Kingston, Jamaica where he gained soccer experience playing for the Jamaican youth team. Folkes played for Lindenwood four four years, and also ran track for one season. Academically at Lindenwood, Folkes received his BA in Physical Education, and is in the process of getting his Masters in Education Administration.

Timothy Kelly Volunteer Coach
Timothy Kelly, a resident of St. Charles, Mo., is Lindenwood's goalkeeper coach. Kelly is a graduate of Duchesne High School. While at Duchesne, he helped the team win a Missouri State Soccer Championship. He then played collegiate soccer at St. Louis Community College in Florissant Valley. Kelly won four National Club Soccer Championships with the Scott Gallagher Club as a player.
Kelly is the Director of St. Louis Goalkeeper Academy, where he works with the development of players between the ages of 8-18 years. He is also the head Goalkeeper Coach for the Scott Gallagher Soccer Club.

Dr. Tom Simpson Volunteer Coach
Dr. Tom Simpson is a 28-year veteran of successful science teaching and coaching. He recently retired from Vianney High School and is now helping the Lindenwood men's soccer squad. Simpson brings a wealth of energy and professionalism/consultation to the Lindenwood program.
