Veterans who enroll at Lindenwood University will again study at a “military friendly” school–a designation the university has earned for the seventh consecutive year–according to the 2016 Military Friendly School list published recently by Victory Media. Only 15 percent of colleges, universities, and trade schools nationwide receive it each year.

Lindenwood University-Belleville President Brett Barger today announced that he has removed the interim tag from Dr. Renee Porter’s title and named her campus provost.
Lindenwood University System President Michael D. Shonrock removed the interim title Wednesday from Dr. Brett Barger and appointed Barger president of the Lindenwood University Belleville campus. Barger had been serving as interim president since Aug. 1.
Lindenwood Belleville former head athletic trainer, Bill Dill, has been named the NAIA Athletic Trainer of the Year, as announced on Tuesday by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Dill was at the helm of the athletic training staff since the inception of the athletic program in 2009, and was given the task of building his own department. In just six years, Dill has taken this athletic training department and staff to heights unparalleled.

Effective July 1, 2015, Lindenwood University’s College for Individualized Education (LCIE) will be known as the Lindenwood University School of Accelerated Degree Programs. The name change corresponds with the 40th anniversary of the program’s launch.
Dr. Brett Barger was introduced Wednesday as interim president of the Lindenwood University Belleville campus, effective Aug. 1. The appointment was made by Dr. Michael Shonrock, president of the Lindenwood University system.
