The Lindenwood University School of Education faculty believe that developing and enhancing an educator as an instructional leader involves an act of blending both “art" and "science" for the most effective preparation experience.
The Counseling Program curriculum at Lindenwood University emphasizes both theoretical and technical knowledge and then relates these to professional practice. Utilizing this framework, the mission is to prepare ethical, reflective practitioners to work in school and mental health settings with individuals groups and families. The program provides the academic credentials for graduates to be licensed as professional counselors and/or to be certified as school counselors.
