Prospective Students

Leahy with studentsAt LU-Belleville, Communications students have access to state-of-the-art equipment such as high definition cameras, professional audio gear and advanced post-production software. In addition, the campus’s new TV studio is a space for the creation of student productions such as television news, sports, and weather; interview-based programming; dramatic works; and promotional videos. Lindenwood students also have the opportunity to receive hands-on training in radio broadcasting and the hosting of radio shows. Our new COM Center includes two high-tech classrooms, a post-production video lab, an equipment checkout room, a newly installed overhead lighting grid, a green screen for compositing video images and more. Also, within our recently implemented Interactive Media and Web Design major, students work with advanced equipment for creating computer graphics and building interactive environments for the web and mobile devices.

We invite you to learn more about the program and tour the facilities on the dynamic Belleville campus. For more information, please contact the Department Chair of Communications, Brendan Leahy.

Professor Brendan Leahy teaches a video production course at Lindenwood University-Belleville.
