English Careers

The English major positions students to be versatile, an immensely valuable quality in today’s job market. English majors are analytical, creative, and communicative. They can think, write, organize, and persuade. These skills make them valuable to employers in a wide variety of fields — editing, teaching, and writing are just the tip of the iceberg. English majors are often well-prepared for post-secondary education in literature, writing, law, and business.
