Lindenwood University has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1918, and, to provide third party validation of the rigor and quality of our business programs, on April 19, 2010 the Plaster School of Business and Entrepreneurship received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.
Accreditation is important for Lindenwood stakeholders – students, employers, community, faculty and alumni. Accreditation will benefit:

Human Resource Program
The Society for Human Resource Management has acknowledged Lindenwood University’s undergraduate human resource management degree program as being fully aligned with SHRM’s HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates. Lindenwood was the first university in the state to earn this important distinction, which is the highest honor awarded to university degree programs. SHRM is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management, with more than 250,000 members in more than 140 countries.
The honor is in effect until 2014 for the HRM programs in the Plaster School of Business & Entrepreneurship as well as Lindenwood’s College for Individualized Education. The guidelines — created in 2006 and revalidated in 2010 and 2013 — are part of SHRM’s Academic Initiative to define HR education standards taught in university business schools and help universities develop degree programs that follow these standards.
