The current version of Cisco Clean Access has compatibility issues with Windows Vista. There are two items in Windows Vista that needs to be addressed (Internet Explorer and Network Connection) so that Vista OS PC's can use Clean Access.

Network Connection

Internet Control Version 6 (TCP /IPv6) needs to be disabled.

1. Open the control panel.

2. Open (double click) Network and Internet

3. Open (double click) Network and Sharing Center.

4. Open (double click) This Computer. This is probably your computer name.

5. Open (double click) Local Area Connection.

In the Local Area Connection Properties, uncheck (no tick or check mark) Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP / IPv6). Press OK .

Internet Explorer

The second part of the Windows Vista / CCA fix is disabling the Server Certificate Revocation in IE7.

1. Open Internet Explorer > Tools > Advanced. Scroll down to the Security Settings (show below) and uncheck (no tick mark or check mark) the "Check for server certificate revocation*" setting.
2. Click Apply then OK.

Reboot your computer. You should now have Clean Access permissions.
