  3. You may see a warning about sending information over the internet. Click the Yes button to continue.

  4. When WindowsUpdate has finished searching for updates, you will see a list of Critical Updates your computer needs. Click Install... to begin the installation process.

  5. You may be presented with a dialog box containing an End User License Agreement, click I Agree to indicate you have read and accept the agreement.

  6. The dialog box will change and you will see a listing of each individual update being downloaded.

  7. After all of the updates are downloaded, the box will show the progress of installing each update. This step may take a few minutes depending on the speed of your computer and how many updates are needed.

  8. When all of the updates have been successfully installed, you will be prompted to restart your computer. Make sure you have saved anything you are working on and that all running programs are closed before clicking Restart Now.
