Lindenwood University, a non-profit corporation, operates the website located at the uniform resource locator (“URL”) www.lindenwood.edu/center. We respect the privacy of all visitors to our website. This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy and information practices for www.lindenwood.edu/center. Please read this policy before using the website.

The Information We Collect.

We may collect personal information that website visitors provide when requesting information about our services, purchasing tickets through Telecharge, or participating in a contest or promotion through email or social media. The types of information that may be collected include name, address, email address, telephone number, and credit card billing information.

How We Use the Information.

We may use personal information to respond to customer service inquiries or to communicate with website visitors who have signed up for the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts’ newsletter. When responding to customer service inquiries, we use the email address or other contact information provided in the inquiry. We may store email addresses or other contact information for future reference with customer service disputes as needed in order to fulfill requests, or to verify a customer’s identity.
Visitors who sign up for the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts’ newsletter provide an email address that we use to distribute the newsletter. Every newsletter sent via email contains instructions for visitors to opt out of receiving the newsletter in the future. We may use email addresses collected online for advertising purposes. When using email addresses for advertising purposes, we do not store the email addresses and we do not sell the information to third parties.

We use the SeatAdvisor platform to sell tickets on our site. Website visitors who purchase tickets through SeatAdvisor must provide certain personal information to SeatAdvisor in order to complete the transactions. We have limited access to this information, and we do not store the information or sell it to third parties. SeatAdvisor collects and shares the personal information provided by consumers according to its privacy policy. SeatAdvisor's privacy policy describes broad data collection and use practices. Please review the privacy policy, which can be found at http://www.seatadvisor.com/privacy.html prior to purchasing tickets through our website. If you choose not to purchase through SeatAdvisor online, tickets can be purchased with cash, check, or credit card at the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts Box Office.
We may be required by law enforcement or judicial authorities to provide personal information to the appropriate governmental authorities. We will disclose personal information upon receipt of a court order, subpoena, or to cooperate with a law enforcement investigation. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful.

Security.

The J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts has put in place appropriate measures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect on our site. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Although we take appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that information we collect will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.
