Erin Bode, who is as well known world-wide as she is in her hometown of St. Louis, will present her debut performance in the Bezemes Family Theater on January 30, 2014. Erin will be performing selections from the Great American Songbook, with all proceeds donated to benefit the Lindenwood University Arts Endowment. Joining Erin and her band—the Erin Bode Group—for this very special concert will be members of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. A limited number of special VIP tickets will be offered for the evening. That donation will include a special reception with refreshments and a private performance by Erin at the unforgettable Lindenwood House.
Erin has the rare mix of sophistication and class with a sincere kindness and approachability. Her easy smile only enhances the talent and training that is so compelling in her performances. Erin’s talent and appeal have been lauded in the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, Jazz Times, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and many other major publications. The Erin Bode Group has performed across the nation in venues such as Blues Alley in Washington, D.C., Zanzibar Blue and World Cafe Live in Philadelphia, and at Sweet Rhythm and Joe’s Pub in New York. Erin has also performed on three European tours, including a show at the Cotton Club in Tokyo. Erin has opened for Jamie Cullum, Michael Buble, Chris Botti, and a host of other high profile musicians. She has received classical training and holds a bachelor’s degree in music.
