Marvin Hamlisch
Rescheduled for Spring, 2010
Due to unavoidable scheduling conflicts, the taping of "Marvin Hamlisch Presents: The ‘70s, The Way We Were," originally scheduled for August 25-31, 2009 in St. Charles, Missouri has been rescheduled for Spring, 2010.
The PBS national fundraising special focuses on the music and pop culture happenings of the decade of the 1970s and features great songs and happy times. It is heavy in performance, but also includes "vignette pop-outs" featuring the pop culture happenings during the decade...these brief, nostalgic pop-outs with voice-over lead into live stage performances by various stars in the special.
The producers are currently working with the featured artists and production crew and will announce the reschedule date for Spring 2010 soon.
The special will be taped at the new $32 million state-of-the-art Scheidegger Center for the Arts' Bezemes Family Theatre on the campus of Lindenwood University.
