School of Education - Doctor of Education (EdD)

The Higher Learning Commission approved Lindenwood University's request to offer a Doctor of Education (EdD) program starting in 2007. This program is the first doctorate ever offered at Lindenwood and is designed for educators and non-educators alike.

The 48-credit hour program is available in two tracks. An Educational Administration track is for educators who wish to pursue careers in administration, such as principal or superintendent. The Instructional Leadership track is for anyone who wishes to maximize his or her instructional skills, including classroom teachers, curriculum writers, professional development people, or even non-educators, such as MBAs who are involved in training or some other line of work with an instructional aspect.
