The Butler Society is named in honor of Colonel James and Margaret Leggat Butler, whose philanthropic spirit led to the construction of nearly half of the major buildings on the Heritage Campus. The society includes alumni and friends who have promoted the growth of Lindenwood through significant charitable gifts.
