Jaya Dey is an economist with the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae). Her previous experience includes three years as an assistant professor in the Department of Economics and two years as an assistant professor in the Department of Economics and Legal Studies at Oklahoma State University. Her research fields are international finance, macroeconomics, Bayesian economics, and applied econometrics, and her research is focused on estimating the causes and transmission of business cycles. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and Macroeconomic Dynamics.
Dr. Dey received her BA in economics from Patna University, India (2002), her MS in quantitative economics from the Indian Statistical Institute (2004), and her PhD in economics from The Ohio State University (2010).
