Adjunct Professor in Interactive Media & Web Design

Location: St. Charles

Start Date: TBD

Purpose of Position: The Interactive Media & Web Design program within the School of Communications at Lindenwood University, invites applications for adjunct instructors in several areas of specialization including web design, web development, 3D modeling, digital imaging (Photoshop), desktop publishing (InDesign), interactive scripting (Flash ActionScript), digital illustration (Illustrator), and mobile application development (Corona SDK). Candidates will primarily be considered to instruct day undergraduate courses.

Duties & Responsibilities: Teach classes as needed

Position Requirements: The position would require a three hour on-campus commitment per week for a period of 14-16 weeks depending on the semester in which the course is offered.

Education Requirements: Preferences are for candidates with terminal degrees in the discipline, but candidates with significant academic and professional credentials will also be considered.

Experience Requirements: Experience in the area of instruction is expected; evidence of such experience may be requested. Applicants should be prepared to share a portfolio of work and/or personal website.

Hours/Days: Three in-class hours per week. Days and Times will vary based on the course offerings.
