Graduate Program in TESOL
The graduate program in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) develops students’ understanding of the basic principles of learning and teaching a second language, as well as the pedagogical implications of those principles for English language teaching. The program prepares students to meet the current demand for highly trained, competent teachers of ESOL in a variety of national and global contexts, including K-12, higher education, and adult/refugee education.
