Usage of the Circuit Court index is for research purposes only. Any other use must be approved by the Missouri State Archives.
4. Once you have established which record that you need to view, microfilm copies of the St. Charles records can be found at the St. Charles Historical Society or the Katheryn Linnemann branch of the St. Charles City-County Library District. Microfilm copies of the St. Louis records can be found at the St. Louis branch of the Missouri State Archives, located in the Globe Building, 710 North Tucker, Room 213, in downtown St. Louis. Due to limited hours, you may need to call St. Charles Historical Society (636-946-9828) and St. Louis branch of the Missouri State Archives (314-588-1746) before visiting.
*(Some St. Louis Records begin in 1774, with the many starting in 1804. Records for St. Louis can also be found in the index, beyond 1835.)
