Butler Library Catalogs

Butler Library

Below are listed two online catalogs with which to search for materials. The first catalog listed is that of the Lindenwood University library. The second is a union catalog of libraries in the state of Missouri. Both catalogs contain materials which students, faculty, and staff of Lindenwood University have access to.

Butler Library
(Bridges cluster in MOBIUS)

MOBIUS
A union catalog of 60 College and University libraries in the state of Missouri. MOBIUS consists of clusters of libraries throughout the state which make up the entire MOBIUS system. Lindenwood is part of the Bridges cluster.

If, after consulting both the Lindenwood catalog and MOBIUS, you are unable to find your materials please feel free to consult the Interlibrary Loan portion of the Library Services page. This page will contain information on requesting the material from other libraries.

Butler Library Media Search
This search feature allows a keyword search to be performed that only retrieves videos and DVDs which Lindenwood University owns. Only Lindenwood faculty are allowed to check out videos and they are not requestable by other libraries.

Lindenwood University Thesis List
Students who graduate from Lindenwood University with a master's degree are often required to write a thesis. A copy of this thesis is then given to the library, where we house these copies for patrons to view. The thesis collection is not accessible in the Butler Library catalog, thus we have created an alphabetical listing of what is available in Butler Library.

Area Libraries
There are also a number of public libraries within the metropolitan St. Louis area which you can search as well. Below are listed some area libraries and the number of branches available within in each library system. To access the catalog, click on the title of the library system on the left.
