EDGAR, a service of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, provides access to public companies' SEC filings. These filings contain annual reports as well as other financial reports concerning a companies business.

Hoover's Online as well as Forbes.com contain basic company information including financial data and stock quotes.

LexisNexis: Company Information contains detailed financial information about companies from sources such as Standard & Poor's Register of Corporations and Hoover's. You can also find companies based on a list of criteria supplied by you for comparison. SEC filings, with a link to EDGAR, is also provided.

LexisNexis: Industry & Market contains news articles which are searchable by industry to help find background information on an industry of interest.

Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, which is available under LexisNexis: Legal Research, lists law firms and lawyers from around the world. LexisNexis: Legal Research also contains law school directories and NALP's Degrees of Difference.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a nationally recognized source of career information, designed to provide valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their future work lives. Revised every two years, the Handbook describes what workers do on the job, working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a wide range of occupations.
