Lindenwood University has hired Sharon Mertzlufft of St. Peters as its executive director of institutional advancement and development.
Mertzlufft will head fund raising efforts for the university in working with the board, staff and community leaders. Previously, Mertzlufft was Major Gifts and Planned Giving Officer at the United Way of Greater St. Louis. Prior to that, Mertzlufft has worked since 1988 in a variety of development, marketing and product management positions with the United Way and G.D. Searle & Co.
Mertzlufft received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and an MBA from Webster University.
