Lindenwood University's American Humanics Student Association recently collected 119 units of blood in its spring blood drive, "Lifesavers 2000," which was held along with the Red Cross.
"This is an outstanding group of students, and when they set goals to achieve, they always go above and beyond the call of duty to attain them," said Joe Parisi, American Humanics executive director.
American Humanics is a nationwide program designed to prepare students for work as professionals in non-profit organizations that work with America's youth and families. LU's American Humanics program is one of the nation's fastest-growing.
