Dr. Kent King, commissioner of the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, will discuss Educational Policymaking in Missouri at a forum hosted Thursday by Lindenwood University.
The forum, titled "Government and Education: A Proper Perspective," is being sponsored by the River's Edge Policy Institute at Lindenwood.
In addition to King's address, three panel discussions will address the following issues: State Role in Education Policymaking, Federal Role in Education Policymaking and A Call to Action: Enhancing the Quality of Life in Our Region.
