New accelerated MBA format to launch
July 31, 2003
As part of its Value Plus program, Lindenwood University has announced a new five-week scheduling opportunity to begin during the fall quarter schedule. Students may take an MBA course during a five-week period, with classes meeting twice a week for four hours.
The five-week classes will coincide with the quarter course schedule, with a week off in between sessions. With this new addition, students will be able to complete more course work in a shorter period of time if they so choose.
“This new format will be able to benefit many students, including working professionals with a heavy travel schedule and military personnel who are concerned with deployments,” said Jay Hardman, dean of the business program.
The program has been designed so students may take courses concurrently on the regular quarterly schedule as well as on the new accelerated schedule.
“Our goal is to offer additional flexibility for students, and to ensure that everyone has a chance to get the education they need in today’s job market,” Hardman added.
