LU student to attend forum in Japan

The international division of the Boy Scouts of America has selected Lindenwood student Paul Lee to attend the International Youth Forum in Japan March 1-13.

The international event is bi-annual and draws 200 scouts from 26 countries. Various topics will be discussed regarding different cultures and lifestyles within and outside of scouting. This year's theme is "New Century, New Beginning."

In addition, Lee will participate in the SAJ-BSA exchange program, which will allow him to tour historic sites and ancient cities in Japan, enjoy hospitality with a Japanese family and fellowship with scouts and leaders from across Japan. Lee has also been selected to make courtesy calls to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

Lee, an Eagle Scout, is majoring in Human Service Agency Management at Lindenwood. He is president of the presidential honor service society, president of American Humanics and vice president of Circle K International.
