LU to Pray for Those Touched by Virginia Tech Tragedy

Lindenwood University will host two important events to express support and offer prayers for those affected by the tragic shootings at Virginia Tech.
There will be a candlelight vigil on the Quadrangle at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18.
There will be student-led interfaith prayer, including prayers for our nation, for healing, for strength, and most especially for those closely affected by the shooting at Virginia Tech.
In addition, there will be a special Prayer at the Pole at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, April 19.
Participants are asked to meet at the flag pole in front of Roemer Hall for 15 minutes of student-led prayer for nation, families, wholeness and strength.
Dr. Mike Mason, Chaplain, will close.
A special card reflecting support and encouragement for students, faculty and administrators at Virginia Tech, will be on display outside the dining hall tomorrow for everyone to sign.
In addition, student groups and campus ministries are encouraged to send messages of support and greeting to their counterparts at Virginia Tech, http://www.vt.edu/.
