Lindenwood University will welcome students back to class on Monday, Aug. 24. To ease the transition into college life, all incoming freshman will participate Aug. 19-23 in a First-Year Experience course designed to familiarize them with university resources.
“We wish for each student a successful college career, and this means more than just attending classes,” said Shane Williamson, Ph.D., director for first-year programs. “The program includes a slew of activities that will help students meet new people and really begin to engage both academically and socially as part of the LU community.”
Lindenwood also will host a Parent Experience Day on Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the Hyland Performance Arena. Guests are invited to have coffee with Lindenwood President James Evans, Ph.D., from 2-3 p.m.; to mingle with members of administration from 3-4:30 p.m.; and to have dinner with their children from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
For more information, please contact Williamson at (636) 949-4728.
