Lindenwood University’s Black Student Union will host a ceremony in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr., Day at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 18, in the third floor atrium of the Spellmann Campus Center. The event is free and open to all members of the community.
The ceremony will include remarks from Lindenwood President James D. Evans, a brief prayer, and student readings of excerpts from King’s speeches. A unity banner from the previous year’s celebration will be displayed and a new one will be unveiled for attendees to sign.
