Theatre Department to Present 'Anything Goes'

Lindenwood University’s Theatre Department will present Cole Porter’s musical of love on the high seas, “Anything Goes,” at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 25-27 and March 4-6.

Tickets range from $10 to $18 and are available at the Lindenwood Box Office, 636-949-4433, or online at The performance will be in the Bezemes Family Theatre at Lindenwood’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, 2300 W. Clay St., St. Charles, Mo., 63301.

Directed by Larry Quiggins, director of the Lindenwood University Theatre Department, the musical concerns madcap antics aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to London. Billy Crocker (Peter Colombatto) is a stowaway in love with heiress Hope Harcourt (Jenifer Sabbert), who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh (Liam Hoeh). Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney (DeAnna Jarrell-Massie) and Public Enemy #13 Moonface Martin (Bobby Stevens) attempt to aid Billy in his quest to win Hope. The musical introduced such songs as “Anything Goes,” “You’re the Top,” and “I Get a Kick Out of You.”

The cast also includes Lizzy Nolen, Mark Saunders, Bobby Gavin Picker, Amelia Morse Kolkmeyer, Jake Bucher, Tara Queen, Jonathan Elkins, Nick Windsor, Ashley Jemes, Nicholas Kelly, Nathaniel Carlson, Amy Grooms, Sara Rae Womack, Colleen Kelly, Beth Wickenhauser, Lauren Maureen Costigan, Caitlin Brand, Devon A.A. Norris, Sean Cameron Gibbs, Jonathon Morgan, Brant Nowack, Wes Jenkins, Johnny Pipitone, DuVaul Isreal Gamble, Ariel frey, Dzana Palavra, Emily Ivy, Emily Heitmeyer, Arelle DeGuire, Shelby Davis, Katie Ritter, Nolan McCay, Michelle Aubuchon, and Lauren Anselm. Assistant Director is Abby Powers, who is also choreographer; musical director is Pamela Grooms. The stage manager is Jeanette Maness.
