Lindenwood University-Belleville has scheduled four guest speakers during March. The presentations are part of the school’s 2009-2010 speaker series and are free and open to the public. This is a wonderful opportunity for LCIE students to fulfill their colloquium requirements.
Each event will take place from 5-6 p.m. in Room 216 of the campus Administration Building. The schedule is as follows:
• Monday, March 8 –Sue Sharp, retired librarian from Belleville West High School. She will present, “What to Read Now, New Books.”
• Wednesday, March 10 –Amy Kempfer, Regions Bank branch manager. She will discuss identity theft prevention.
• Tuesday, March 16 – Tom Johnson, Illinois statewide crisis intervention training coordinator. He will present, “Crisis and Mental Health Intervention Training.”
• Tuesday, March 23– Wayne Lanter, poet and published author. He will offer readings from selected works.
