Four Speakers Coming to Campus in April


Lindenwood University–Belleville has scheduled four guest speakers during April. The presentations are part of the school’s 2009-2010 speaker series and are free and open to the public. This is a wonderful opportunity for LCIE students to fulfill their colloquium requirements.

Each event will take place from 5-6 p.m. in Room 216 of the campus Administration Building. The schedule is as follows: • Thursday, April 8 – Samuel Loring, financial advisor at Morgan Keegan and Company in Swansea, Ill. He will present, “Understanding Investments.”

• Monday, April 12 – Paul Roesch, owner of The Franchisor Coach consulting firm in Belleville, Ill., and Caring Transitions in St. Louis, Mo. He will discuss franchising and entrepreneurship.

• Tuesday, April 20 – Janet Wright, retired member of the United States Air Force and long-time women’s rights advocate, and Vicki Niederhofer, a labor economist for the Illinois Department of Employment Security. They will present, “Equal Pay Day: The Importance of Pay Equity.”

• Wednesday, April 21 – Pamella Gronemeyer, MD, pathologist. She will discuss single-payer health care.
