Lindenwood University–Belleville has scheduled four guest speakers during June. The presentations are part of the school’s 2010 speaker series and are free and open to the public.
All events will take place from 5-6 p.m. in Room 216 of the Administration Building unless otherwise indicated. The schedule is as follows:
• Tuesday, June 8 – Justin Biggs, K-9 officer with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department, will demonstrate K-9 investigation methods in the campus parking lot near the soccer field.
• Wednesday, June 9 – Terry Timmerman, local stable owner, will speak about her use of equine assisted learning methods to help at-risk youth.
• Monday, June 14 – Paula Brodie, senior operations director at Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation, will discuss services offered by the organization and its impact on the lives of individuals and the community.
• Thursday, June 17 – Nancy Larson, managing partner and attorney for the law firm of Harter, Larson & Dodd, LLC, will discuss important issues to address when planning for the needs of elderly family members.
