Barudin Well-Equipped to Lead Performing Ensemble
August 27, 2012 Jeffrey Barudin joins the Lindenwood University-Belleville faculty this year to initiate the creation of a pep band on campus. He will also continue his work on the St. Charles campus teaching percussion students in concert and marching settings. Barudin earned a bachelor’s in music education from Penn State University as well as a Master of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Michigan. Outside of the classroom, Barudin is in demand as a freelance percussionist, soloist, and educator in the Metro St. Louis Area. He is the principal timpanist and percussionist with the Town & Country Symphony Orchestra and a percussion section member of the St. Louis Brass Band; he has also played with the St. Louis Civic Orchestra and the St. Charles Symphonic Society. He has performed as a soloist throughout the Midwest and East Coast.
