LU to be a Part of St. Louis International Film Festival for Kids

The Lindenwood University Film Series will be a venue for the 2013 St. Louis International Film Festival Kids Festival with free screenings of two films at Young Hall Theatre. This is the first time Lindenwood has served as a venue for the film festival.

Wolf Children, by Japanese director Mamoru Hosoda, will be screened at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, and The Painting, by French director Jean-Francois Laguionie, will be screened at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3.

“We are honored that Cinema St. Louis is partnering with the Lindenwood Film Series to host two screenings as part of its inaugural International Children’s Film Festival (SLIFF/Kids),” said David Brown, director of the Lindenwood University Film Series. “This is an exciting opportunity for St. Charles County and for Lindenwood, and it will further integrate the Film Series into the St. Louis arts community.”
